DALI has just pulled the curtain back on two new additions to its custom install audio lineup at Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2025 in Barcelona: the Phantom M80 A in-ceiling speaker and the CI AMP-4750 DSP amplifier. These new products aim to bring high-quality sound to home theaters and multi-room setups without taking up visible space.
Michael Munch, CI Business Development Manager at DALI, shared his thoughts about the new offerings: “The PHANTOM M-80 A expands the PHANTOM series and provides more options for discreet in-ceiling installations. It offers movie fans a wide range of immersive surround sound possibilities when combined with the existing PHANTOM range. The PHANTOM CI AMP-4750 DSP is a powerful and smart 4-channel DSP amplifier that can serve as the heart of a home theater system while also accommodating traditional DALI hi-fi speakers, offering great flexibility.”
Not everyone wants traditional box speakers sitting around the room. That’s where the Phantom M80 A comes in—it’s an in-ceiling speaker designed to deliver powerful and immersive sound without cluttering up your living space.
What makes this model stand out is its 7-inch bass/midrange driver, which is angled at 25°. This means instead of sound dispersing in all directions, the speaker directs audio toward your listening area. That’s a big deal for home theaters, where precise sound placement can make a huge difference.
Along with the angled driver, there’s a 28mm soft dome tweeter that handles the high frequencies, ensuring clear dialogue and crisp details in music and movies. Plus, compass-style direction indicators allow installers to fine-tune the speaker’s position, ensuring the best possible sound coverage for the room.
The low-profile design helps the M80 A blend into ceilings seamlessly, making it a great choice for those who want high-performance sound without visible speakers.
To drive speakers like the Phantom M80 A, DALI has also introduced the CI AMP-4750 DSP, a four-channel amplifier designed to power DALI’s custom install speakers and subwoofers.
Each channel delivers 750 watts, providing plenty of power for home theater setups, multi-room audio, and even commercial applications. The unit comes in a full rack-width, 2U format, meaning it’s built to fit into custom AV racks.
One of the highlights of this amp is its versatility. It supports both 70V and 100V speaker systems, making it a solid option for setups where speakers are spread across multiple rooms or even outdoor areas.
When it comes to connectivity, the AMP-4750 DSP offers four analog inputs and a stereo S/PDIF digital input, ensuring compatibility with a range of audio sources.
The amp is configurable via DALI’s Phantom CI AMP Configurator, which users can access through wired or wireless networks. This means settings can be adjusted from a smartphone, laptop, or network router, giving users remote control over their audio system.
Both the Phantom M80 A and CI AMP-4750 DSP are expected to launch in March 2025. Here’s how the pricing breaks down:
