Sennheiser has introduced a new addition to its wireless headphone lineup, the ACCENTUM Wireless ANC headphones. Priced at just $179, these headphones have been designed to compete with models that cost significantly more while offering a compelling combination of features, sound quality, and affordability.
Drawing parallels with the award-winning MOMENTUM 4, the ACCENTUM Wireless headphones share a substantial portion of their DNA with their high-end sibling, setting high expectations for audio enthusiasts and budget-conscious consumers alike. Christian Ern, Sennheiser's Principal Product Manager, acknowledged the similarities, saying:
“The sleek and understated look of ACCENTUM Wireless is more than an extension of the latest generation MOMENTUM family. They are arguably our most comfortable all-purpose wireless headphones yet with their balanced feel and luxurious padding. Your ears can stay in the sweet spot for hours.”
Sound quality is a focal point for Sennheiser, and the ACCENTUM headphones don't disappoint. Equipped with 37mm dynamic transducers, these headphones promise to deliver a rich and engaging audio experience with impressive bass performance and striking clarity. While the transducers are slightly smaller than those found in the higher-priced MOMENTUM 4 headphones, Sennheiser assures users that the ACCENTUM will still provide a breathtaking audio experience.
The ACCENTUM Wireless headphones support the aptX HD Bluetooth codec, offering a high-resolution audio experience with a 24-bit/48kHz bitrate. This ensures that users can enjoy their favorite music in exceptional detail when paired with compatible devices. Furthermore, the headphones are compatible with AAC and SBC codecs, catering to a wide range of devices, including iPhones.

The ACCENTUM Wireless headphones are set to hit the market in an all-black colorway starting October 4, 2023, with pre-orders available from September 26, 2023. A white edition is expected to arrive in late November.
