Sophisticated processing You can set the sub's crossover point to 80, 100, or 120 Hz so it'll match up with just about any powered speaker. The DXS18 also features Cardioid Mode, in which two or more DXS18s can be combined in a cardioid sound pattern which helps directionalize the sound. In addition, Yamaha's D-XSUB Processing offers three different bass modes, so you can adapt the sub to live bands, DJs, and other applications.
