The color LED screen helps you utilize built-in crossovers, delays, EQs, and more. Firepower and flexibility The QSC PLD4.2 amplifier delivers an impressive 400 watts RMS by 4 channels at either 4 or 8 ohms, 800 watts by 2 channels, and 1600 watts in single-channel mode. It's also stable down to 2 ohms in 2-channel mode, and even down to 1 ohm in single-channel operation. QSC's proprietary MOSFET output devices combine with Class-D power to make this amp run with remarkable efficiency, so power demands are reduced and controlled. On the front panel, the amp offers LEDs (including limiter, clipping, and signal), select, and mute buttons for each channel, plus a master control knob and four menu control buttons. The gorgeous color LCD screen gives you a clear view of the proceedings, including graphical displays and the operating temperatures of the MOSFETs and power supply. On the back panel, the PLD4.2 boasts four routable female XLR inputs with selectable sensitivity, and six Neutrik Speakon? outputs for the speakers (two of which are bridged). Four routable XLR line outputs are also available for daisy-chaining with other amplifiers.
