The LCR80 3-way Center-Channel Speaker projects an extremely wide sound-stage for a greater listening experience from a variety of seating positions, delivering an amazingly full-sounding performance for a speaker of such compact dimensions. With its flexible design, it can be placed in horizontal, vertical or shelf mounted orientations. Complete mounting hardware is supplied for all positions. Patented McIntosh Solid Cinch™ speaker binding posts allow for a simple yet secure connection to your speaker cables, helping to ensure the best possible audio performance. The machined alloy, high-frequency array is rotatable to optimize the sound for either vertical or horizontal placement without sonic compromise. McIntosh patented Low Distortion / High Performance (LD/HP®) woofers are combined with two midranges and a dedicated tweeter to deliver lifelike sound. Voiced to match the XR50 and XR100 speakers, LCR80 may be used for the left, center, or right channels in home theater systems or in special stereo applications.
