Bang for your buck JBL built the rugged enclosure from 0.7" birch/poplar laminate with an 16-gauge steel grille and JBL's DuraFlex finish. A 36mm pole mounting socket allows the JRX218S to serve as the base for a mid/high speaker cabinet, like JBL's PRX415.
