Paired with an array of cutting-edge features, this gaming monitor sets its sights on delivering immersive gameplay while expanding the horizons of gaming technology. Unveiled at CES 2023, the Odyssey Neo G9 57" has now received an October release date and a price tag of $2,500.

The Odyssey Neo G9 57" showcases Samsung's ongoing efforts to expand the horizons of visual display technology. With a staggering 57-inch curved Mini LED screen that combines the equivalent of two 32-inch 4K displays, the monitor's 32:9 aspect ratio and 7,680 x 2,160 resolution offer an ultra-wide and immersive gaming experience. 

The mini-LED technology, coupled with HDR 1000 support, promises a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and a 10-bit color processing depth, fostering a visual environment teeming with detail and vibrancy.

One of the key selling points of the Odyssey Neo G9 57" is its exceptional refresh rate and response time. With a 240Hz refresh rate and a rapid 1ms response time, the monitor aims to minimize motion blur and ghosting, which should grant gamers the advantage of fluid and responsive visuals. 

Furthermore, the inclusion of AMD's FreeSync Premium Pro variable refresh rate technology should ensure a smooth and lag-free gaming experience, complementing the display's high performance.

Gamers seeking multi-tasking efficiency will appreciate the picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture modes, enabling simultaneous display of multiple inputs. This feature proves valuable for streamlining workflows and maximizing productivity.

The ergonomic design of the monitor, accompanied by Core Lighting+ and CoreSync technology, blends functionality with aesthetics. Core Lighting+ provides ambient lighting that synchronizes with on-screen content, creating an immersive atmosphere that complements the gaming experience.

Leveraging DisplayPort 2.1 to its fullest potential necessitates the utilization of AMD's latest Radeon RX 7900XT and RX 7900XTX GPUs, as NVIDIA's current RTX 4000 series cards lack support for the standard.
