Japanese audio brand Final is back with a new pair of wireless earbuds, the ZE3000 SV. This latest addition brings Comfort ANC, high-resolution LDAC audio support, and a redesigned driver—all at a surprisingly budget-friendly price. Unlike some ANC earbuds that prioritize noise cancellation over everything else, the ZE3000 SV aims to strike a balance between sound quality and effective isolation, while also adding features that were missing from its predecessor, the ZE3000.
One of the biggest upgrades in the ZE3000 SV is its new 10mm f-Core SV dynamic driver—a jump from the previous model’s smaller 6mm driver. The idea behind this upgrade is a wider, more natural sound without relying on digital equalizers or artificial boosts.
To complement the new driver, Final has also introduced its f-LINK Port technology. Since wireless earbuds have limited space inside their housings (especially with batteries, antennas, and circuit boards packed in), it’s challenging to fine-tune sound the way it’s done with wired earphones.
Final’s f-LINK Port is designed to optimize acoustic pressure inside the earbud, which in theory should lead to more controlled bass and clearer vocals—without sacrificing the earbuds' IPX4 water resistance.
For the first time, Final has added Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) to its earbuds—but with a different approach. Instead of aggressively blocking out as much noise as possible, Comfort ANC is designed to reduce background noise without causing that uncomfortable pressure that some ANC earbuds create.
For people who find traditional noise cancellation a bit too intense (or even fatiguing), Final’s approach could be a good middle ground—helping to minimize distractions while keeping the listening experience natural.
The ZE3000 SV isn’t just about sound quality—it’s also packed with modern wireless features.
Another notable addition is LDAC support. Unlike the previous ZE3000, which only had aptX Adaptive (not available on all devices), LDAC is compatible with most Android phones and supports high-resolution streaming up to 24-bit/96kHz. This means users who stream from services like TIDAL or Qobuz could potentially get a more detailed, richer sound—assuming they have a compatible device.
Final has kept battery life the same as the previous model—7 hours per charge and up to 28 hours with the charging case. However, since ANC and LDAC can be power-hungry, real-world performance may vary depending on usage.
The ZE3000 SV also retains Final’s signature Shibo texture—a slightly rough, matte coating that resists fingerprints and scratches. The case design has also been refined with an “easy-catch” feature, making it simpler to take the earbuds out and put them back in without fumbling.
At $99.99 (US) / £89.99 (UK) / €99.99 (EU), the ZE3000 SV comes in at a lower price than its predecessor while adding several key features. It’s available now through Amazon and select retailers.
For those looking for ANC earbuds that focus on audio performance rather than just noise cancellation, the Final ZE3000 SV could be an interesting option—especially at this price point. With better drivers, smarter ANC, and improved connectivity, it’ll be worth seeing how these stack up against other budget-friendly wireless earbuds.
