It promises a high-fidelity listening experience from a single soundbar, no satellites, no extra subwoofer… just one simple bar, engineered for high-fidelity sound, with a suggested retail price of $999 USD.

The same engineering team that works on the recording studio monitors have tuned this soundbar so that it sounds great.
It's been 13 years since Bowers and Wilkins introduced its first soundbar, the Panorama, which focused on audio fidelity and featured the all-in-one design that did not require an external subwoofer. This was followed up by the panorama to in 2013, a soundbar that added HDMI and improved the quality of the drivers. It's been just about nine years since Panorama 2, and now we have Panorama 3.
This low-profile soundbar is only 2.5 inches high, a mere 5.5 inches deep, but a generous 47.6 inches wide. This makes it ideal to pair with just about any television 55 inches and larger. Within the chassis are 13 drivers that deliver a 3.1.2 listening experience. Bowers and Wilkins states that it's able to deliver "a room-filling, powerful sound no one-box rival can match."
On the top of the Panorama 3, you'll find capacitive touch buttons that are hidden until they sense a fingertip, this allows for easy and immediate control when a phone is not available, and built-in Alexa lets you use voice commands as well.
Dolby Atmos is the marquee attraction here and this is achieved with dual physical 50mm up-firing drivers utilizing the reflected-sound approach for the two overhead channels. The forward-firing drivers for left-center and right channels are made up of pairs of 2-inch midrange drivers paired with .75 inch titanium dome tweeters.
Bass is handled by dual 4-inch drivers that take full advantage of the interior of the soundbar enclosure, for extended response. Total system power adds up to 400 W, and the theme here is robust high fidelity sound is attainable with no need for an external subwoofer
The all-in-one design promotes an easy setup, and the low profile ensures that it doesn't block your TV. It is also wall-mountable.
Bowers and Wilkins's new soundbar features an HDMI eARC connection which allows you to link to a TV with a single cable and receive uncompressed audio including Dolby Atmos 3D immersive sound. It is also compatible with "standard" HDMI ARC.
The Panorama 3 is sure to be paired with the TV in a setup that's the center of attention in any room. And when you're not using it to watch TV or movies, it is able to offer a music listening experience that is also informed by Bowers and Wilkins history in stereo sound reproduction.
You get compatibility with AirPlay to as well as aptX Adaptive Bluetooth, so that both iOS and Android devices will stream with ease. Spot fire users can leverage spot of I connect for easy control, and using the Bowers and Wilkins music app you can stream high-res music from services such Tidal, Qobuz, Deezer, Last.fm, Soundcloud, and TuneIn, with the list expected to grow over time.
