If you’ve ever spent more time scrubbing your pool than actually enjoying it, Beatbot’s new AquaSense 2 Series might be worth a look. Officially launching after its debut at CES 2025, this lineup of robotic pool cleaners is designed to take the hassle out of pool maintenance.
The series includes three models—AquaSense 2, AquaSense 2 Pro, and AquaSense 2 Ultra—all built to clean in-ground and above-ground pools with a mix of AI-powered navigation, multi-surface cleaning, and even built-in water purification.
To top it off, Beatbot has announced a partnership with the U.S. SailGP Team, a global competitive sailing league. While this collaboration might not lead to any new products, it does highlight Beatbot’s focus on water technology and innovation.
"We constantly encourage our athletes and team members to be innovative and think outside the box, which is why our team is proud to partner with Beatbot, a brand that embodies this same mindset," said Kyle Whittingham, Vice President of Marketing and Content at U.S. SailGP.
"One of the reasons we're so thrilled about this partnership is how perfectly Beatbot aligns with our values and our commitment to excellence, always striving for something greater, and our shared passion for sustainability. Beatbot is pioneering products that coincide with our ethos breaking barriers and finding ways to connect and deliver remarkable experiences for users and fans alike."
The AquaSense 2 Ultra ($3,450 on Amazon) is the top-tier model and comes packed with HybridSense AI Pool Mapping. Using 27 sensors, AI-powered cameras, infrared, and ultrasonic technology, it scans and maps your pool for smarter, more efficient cleaning. Unlike standard robotic cleaners, it covers the floor, walls, waterline, and even the surface of the water, while also working to clarify the water itself.
The mid-tier AquaSense 2 Pro ($2,499 on Amazon) offers similar multi-surface cleaning but is controlled through a smartphone app, making it easier to adjust settings and schedules.
For those looking for a simpler solution, the entry-level AquaSense 2 ($1,499 on Amazon) tackles floors, walls, and the waterline with optimized navigation.
No matter the shape or layout of your pool, the AquaSense 2 Series is built to handle it. These robots work with a variety of surfaces—including tile, concrete, fiberglass, and vinyl—and they navigate obstacles like steps, ladders, and even uniquely shaped pools.
Each model also comes with SmartDrain technology, which reduces weight as you lift it out of the water, making removal easier.
The Pro and Ultra models go a step further by offering a built-in clarifier dispenser. This system uses all-natural chitosan, which binds to dirt and oils, helping to clear up cloudy water without excessive chemicals. Each clarifier cartridge lasts for 99,000 gallons, which is significantly more than what the average pool needs.
Additionally, these models include dual filtration systems with both coarse and fine filters, capable of capturing particles as small as 150 micrometers—which is smaller than a grain of salt.
All three AquaSense 2 models are cordless and wirelessly rechargeable. Charging times vary slightly:
There are multiple cleaning modes available depending on your needs:
The Pro and Ultra models also feature app-based navigation, giving users the ability to adjust cleaning schedules, set custom paths, and remotely control the cleaner.
The AquaSense 2 Series officially launches on February 10, 2025. If you’re interested, early buyers can save up to 30% for a limited time by purchasing through Beatbot’s official website or Amazon store.
