If you’ve ever been stuck in a power outage, you know how frustrating it can be. Whether it’s keeping the fridge running, staying connected, or making sure the AC doesn’t quit on a scorching day, reliable backup power can be a lifesaver. Anker’s new Solix F3800 Plus is built for exactly that. It’s a portable power station designed to keep your essential appliances and devices running when the grid goes down.

Set to launch on March 12, 2025, the F3800 Plus is an upgraded version of Anker’s earlier model, the Solix F3800, offering more solar input, better generator support, and massive energy expandability. Whether you need a home backup system, power for an RV trip, or an off-grid energy solution, this unit is built to handle it all.

Right out of the box, the F3800 Plus comes with a 3,840-watt-hour (Wh) battery, but if that’s not enough, you can add up to 12 extra battery packs for a maximum capacity of 53,760 Wh. That’s a huge jump from the previous version, which only supported six extra packs.

This level of expandability means you can start small and build your system over time, whether you just need backup for a few devices or want to power your entire home during an outage. With 6,000 watts of AC output, it’s capable of running washers, dryers, refrigerators, and even air conditioners.

For versatility, it comes equipped with:

  • Six 120V AC outlets
  • Three 100W USB-C ports
  • Two USB-A ports
  • A 120W car socket
  • NEMA L14-30 and NEMA TT-30P outlets for RVs and high-power devices

Basically, you can plug in just about anything.

One of the biggest upgrades in the Solix F3800 Plus is faster solar charging. It now supports 3,200 watts of solar input (up from 2,400W in the previous model), thanks to dual 165V solar inputs. This means you can connect up to eight 400W solar panels and fully recharge in just 1.5 hours on a sunny day. That’s a big deal for anyone relying on solar power.

But what if the sun isn’t shining? Anker has added full support for 240V gas generators. With an optional Generator Input Adapter, you can hook up a gas generator and fully recharge the power station in 1.5 hours—just as fast as solar. Plus, it supports a 6,000W power bypass mode, meaning you can keep the F3800 Plus wired into your home’s system and let the generator handle the load without having to unplug anything.

For those looking for a whole-home backup system, the Solix F3800 Plus works with Anker’s Home Power Panel. When connected, it can automatically switch from grid power to backup power in just 30 milliseconds—fast enough that you might not even notice the power went out.

So if you’re dealing with rolling blackouts or preparing for emergencies, this kind of automatic switchover makes a real difference in keeping your home running smoothly.

Despite its hefty power capabilities, the Solix F3800 Plus is designed to be portable. It comes with wheels and a telescopic handle, so moving it around your home or taking it on the road isn’t a struggle.

For added convenience, it also connects to the Anker app, where you can monitor battery levels, check power usage, and manage settings remotely. Regardless if you're at home or away, you’ll always have control over your power supply.

The Anker Solix F3800 Plus will officially launch on March 12, 2025, with a starting price of $3,199. Early customers can sign up for exclusive perks, including a free 400W solar panel ($899 value) and a protective cover ($99 value). Additional accessories like the Generator Input Adapter and transfer switch will be available separately.
